Faith, Resilience & Everyday Joy
Welcome to the Joyful Life Blog! It’s All Gonna Be OK!
October 3, 2026
As I write this, I’m sitting outside enjoying the early fall weather and watching the dogs play in the yard. I chose this peaceful space so I could gather my thoughts and decide what I wanted to share in my first post.
As I look around, I’m reminded of how resilient God made His creation—and that includes us. Because of Him, we can make it through whatever comes our way.

I thought the best way to begin this blog would be to share my goals for helping others and explain where that desire comes from. I want readers to understand how this blog—and The Joyful Life Company—may help them.
Life is complicated, so finding a little joy wherever we can is important.
My goal is to help people rediscover joy through the connection between the person, their environment, and the activities that give their life meaning. I want to meet people where they are and help in any way I can. I’ll explore this more deeply in future posts, but I want to make one thing clear from the beginning: God is at the center.
I believe my calling to serve Him includes using the gifts He has given me to help others find their way through that difficult question: “Where did the joy go?”
If you don’t share these same beliefs, I respect that, and I ask that you respect my beliefs in return. I also hope you’ll consider reading anyway. You never know where you might find the answer you’ve been searching for!
The purpose of this blog is to share stories, ideas, and experiences that may help others along their own joyful journey. We’ll explore healthy ideas, simple changes, major transitions, enriching activities, wellness, quality of life, and what it means to experience greater wholeness.
Honestly, there’s no telling where this blog may go or what stories you may find here. It will touch on many areas of life because a well-rounded, joyful life is not made up of isolated parts. It comes from discovering how all those parts can work together to create greater joy in the whole.
I’m excited to share this journey with you! My hope is that, after reading, you will feel more encouraged and enriched in the life God has blessed you with.
